THIS WEEK AT PCC

-SPIRITUAL WARFARE IS REAL! Pastor Dave will be continuing his sermon series on recognizing and defeating spiritual warfare in your life. This series is important for every Christian as we wage the war on worldly influences in our lives. The HUB teen ministry is on break so that our teens can benefit from this teaching. If you have missed a week you can pick up a free CD at the info table.

-Prayer Meetings & Prayer Walks: Most Fridays at 6:30 p.m. for prayer meetings and most Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. for prayer walks. A church without prayer is a dead church and our entire valley needs to be covered in the Holy Spirit through prayer!  See the “Special Groups” tab for dates and more info.

-Fruits of the Spirit: In celebration of our K2 Kids Class study on “Fruits of the Spirit” this year, we have began serving fruit only on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month and canning the donuts & juice!  It has been a huge hit and it’s a great way to live healthier this year! For info on participating to help out and bring fruit one week see Miss Patty in the Nursery room.

-PCC KIDS THIS WEEK: Our K2 Kids are continuing their study on Fruits of the Spirit and July starts “Patience”…The 3:5 Kidz class is finishing their study on Growing in Goodness…The HUB teens are joining the adults in the main service for the Spiritual Warfare study.

-Christmas in July: Grace Resource Center is sponsoring a Jethawks game to help defeat hunger. Funds from every $6 ticket purchased will go to help feed the needy in Antelope Valley. See Pastor Dave for tickets or more info.

-Check out our new Members Tab: Weekday and Sunday serving opportunities and Prayer Requests!

WEEKLY MEMORY VERSE

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
